At KSh 2,501 the fee jumps from KSh 29 to KSh 52. You have KSh 500 of headroom before that.
The fee shown on your M-PESA confirmation screen is the final charge. Safaricom can revise tariffs after notice, and did so for merchant tariffs on 7 August 2026 — if the screen differs from this figure, cancel and check.
